Lego 4000016 Billund Airport  

This is a model of Billund Airport. It was designed by one of the employees at the Lego store in Billund Airport to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the airport. After seeing the model, one of Lego's senior managers decided that it could be officially made and released as a set. The Lego store employee who designed the original set was Lennart Cort. We were lucky enough to meet him at the Lego store in Billund Airport and he was happy to autograph some of the sets for us. These signed sets will be available to purchase at a later date. 

This product is and will only be available from one location in the world - Billund Airport Lego Store. There is also a limited number that are being made - 10,000 worldwide!

You will notice that the price we are charging for this set is probably the cheapest you will find it anywhere outside of the departures shop in Billund Airport itself. If you can find it cheaper we recommend you buy it straight away. 

This Lego 4000016 set is one of an unofficial lego theme which includes several other Lego commercial buildings. The range also includes the Lego House 4000010, the Kornmarken Factory 4000005, Kladno Campus 4000006 & 4000018, Ole Kirk's House 4000007, HMV Production facility 4000009, Moulding Machines 4000001 and a few more. Some of the theme has only been available to attendees at the exclusive Lego Inside Tours and are incredibly hard to find.
